Babysitter Idol
Rachel is Charlotte's most beloved babysitter (and only). Yesterday, when inspecting her itchy scab on her knee, Rachel got a little copycat going. Charlotte dropped to her knees and announced, "I get a boo boo just like Rachel".
Ahhh, the beginning of peer pressure and outside influences. Well, Rachel is way cool...she could do much worse :)

I knew a Mom who was jealous of her little one's "idol." I said, "Use it to your advantage!" Tell your kid, "so and so will be so proud of you when s/he hears that you did X" and then follow through by asking the said person to go ga-ga when the kid tells then what they did. Luckily, G has a GREAT idol: Margaret. It's nice when the Mom and the idol have the same philosophies about raising toddlers. I'm glad Charlotte has an idol you approve of and that your comfortable with it. I can't wait to see her again! Andrea
